GameCity Prize: Shortlist & Jury Announcement

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

You might be wondering where the GameCity Prize has gone this year.

Well, don't worry. It's not totally absent.

We've been giving the Prize a lot of thought over the last year and we're giving the whole process a shake up. With a bit of help from some special friends, of course.

Come along to Antenna on Thursday evening where we'll be talking about this year's GameCity Prize, revealing the shortlist, the jury, and possibly a few surprises that we've been hiding up our sleeves.

The GameCity Prize is brought to you by GameCity and is powered by Nottingham Trent University.

Created to spark conversations about videogames outside of traditional channels and launched at GameCity6 in 2011, the GameCity Prize received international recognition – with Markus ‘Notch’ Persson’s runaway success, Minecraft, grabbing the inaugural gong. The GameCity Prize 2012 was won by thatgamecompany’s Journey. The GameCity Prize aims to explore and celebrate the very best in interactive entertainment and drive understanding and appreciation of videogames within a wider cultural context.
