The Night Zookeeper

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Visit the Night Zookeeper to hear his incredible story about the magical Night Zoo. You will be challenged to invent your very own magical animal and then may even get to see it come to life in the latest Night Zookeeper apps; Story Pairs and Teleporting Torch.

The Night Zookeeper is a project which aims to get children to interact with technology in a way which is refreshingly constructive and creative.

The Night Zookeeper is a digital world where children can draw and create their own magical creatures to live in their zoo. Children can then write stories about them and share the pictures of their animals with their friends. An important part of the project is that parents and teachers can also contribute to the zoo by setting the children challenges and goals to complete.

Drop into Waterstones at any point between 10.00am-5.00pm to visit The Night Zookeeper.

These workshops are primarily aimed at children under 10 and their Parents/Guardians. However, anyone is welcome throughout the week.

Fancy winning an iPad?

All you have to do is draw a magical funny animal for the Night Zoo! The creator of the best creature, as judged by the Night Zookeeper, will win an iPad. Just bring a picture of your creature to Night Zookeeper at Waterstones - or draw one when you're there - and the judges will do the rest.
