Anna Marsh
Lady Shotgun Ltd Design Director
France, UK and Argentina
Founder & designer director of Lady Shotgun, a co-operative of freelance game developers started by myself & two other mums to work from home and balance making games we loved with looking after our small children. I was born & raised near Nottingham in Breaston. When I was a child our family gatherings were opportunities to play all kinds of game, from dominoes to charades. When my parents bought me a ZX Spectrum and I could make my own games I was hooked for life.
Before turning independent I worked for big companies like Sony, Creative Assembly and Eidos mainly on big console franchises like Tomb Raider and Aliens. These days I make mobile games with Lady Shotgun, talk and write about video games, and play great games with my 3 year old daughter. I'm going to be showing Lady Shotgun's first game Buddha Finger in the Market Square and running some brilliant workshops for kids in the Broadway Cinema Studio.
